Posted by on 6th September 2010 in General

Noah Harrison was born  in Illinois in 1984, but not long after that was uprooted and moved out to  New Hampshire, where he grew up. Today Harrison makes his home in Portland, Maine, not far from New Hampshire.

Harrison’s musical style can be described as inward, quiet, subtle, self-aware and internally motivated.  In 2005 he brought out his first EP entitled “Songs for a Long Night.”  In October 2007 Harrison released his self-recorded full-length album, “It May Only Be Ignorance.”

It can be said that Noah Harrison is a singer-songwriter of rare soul, bringing is whole self into his enterprise. His songs are relaxing yet challenging, slow-core but deep, acoustic and folk. His contribution to this genre should not be underestimated.
